Casual Housekeeping Assistant Job description

The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall is an award winning venue specialising in weddings, events, and conferences. The Woodlands has rapidly gained recognition and awards as a destination venue for high quality customer service, food offering, events space and accommodation.

We are actively expanding our team due to the continued growth and development of the estate. With extensive renovation plans to include a fully serviced hotel, fine dining restaurant, hotel bedrooms and event space, we are looking for hard working, driven individuals to bring a positive mindset and can-do attitude to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

· Clean, prepare and restock bedrooms and bathrooms to the high standards.

· Strip and make beds, recording linen as required (training will be given)

· Clean, hoover, mop and restock public areas including Reception, Offices, Venue and toilets

· Polish and wash down surfaces, walls and windows

· Follow correct procedures for returning/receiving linen

· Report any damages to housekeeping manager/maintenance

· Follow all cleaning schedules to a high standard

· Follow COSHH guidelines when using all chemicals

· Follow manual handling procedures throughout your service

· Follow the safe guidelines for the use of commercial Laundry machines
